Students Learn about Responsible Global Marketing and Sustainability

A group of LIM College graduate students attended the "Marketing Makes a World of Difference" symposium hosted by The Internationalist.

Marketing Makes a World of Difference

As part of Professor John Keane's Global Marketing in the Fashion Industry class, students learned about a variety of case studies from companies embracing sustainable ideas that demonstrate marketing innovation.

The event was held at the SAP corporate offices at Hudson Yards in Manhattan and featured presentations by CMOs from a diverse group of companies, including L'Oreal, Anheuser-Busch, and Priceline.

"This was a great opportunity for students to hear from true global marketing practitioners discussing the current trends in the industry," said Professor Keane. "The presentations they saw helped reinforce the global marketing principles we've been discussing in class, allowing them to observe how these play out in real world business situations. "Professor Keane consults as the Director of Research and Insights for The Internationalist, which focuses on, "the reinvention of marketing around the globe by connecting the people and ideas in international advertising, marketing, and media through content, thought leadership, collaboration, and influence."
