As fashion students, being well dressed and on trend is very important to us. When the weather warms up and you still need to dress appropriate for your workplace, here are some tips to show off your talented fashion sense while still looking professional.

Wear patterns and florals

This spring's runways were filled with picnic plaids, as seen in the Victoria Beckham show, and laced florals, seen in Emilio Pucci and Celine. A floral blouse to pair with cigarette trousers or a plaid (length appropriate) dress can be your easy go-to for your internship.

Wear Ruffles

Ruffles are another popular trend seen this spring season. Designers like Roberto Cavalli and Michael Kors highlighted ruffles in their shows and you can wear ruffled blouses, dresses, and even accessories to add something fun to your everyday outfit. It’s work appropriate and chic.

Wear a Backpack:

It’s a new season and backpacks are in. Go to both school and your internship with a chic new pack on your back. Designers like Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang change up the original style and shape while Burberry is keeping it classic. Pass on the purses and accessorize with a backpack.
