Summer is finally here and I have been thinking about what I should do for a while now. Many of my old friends from high school are actually going to work, intern, or both this summer. We just finished sophomore year and graduation will be here sooner than you think. Everyone is starting to think about their futures and careers. A few of them are even going to be in NYC for internships.

At first I planned to go home for a few weeks then come back to NYC and intern. As I was telling my mother what my plan was, she reminded me that I don't have that many summer vacations left and I should enjoy them while they last. Then I said to myself, I already interned at DVF this past semester and I am planning to intern for a fashion company again in the fall, so I might as well take a little break to recharge myself.

As soon as I heard about my parents' trip to Europe this summer, I told them I was tagging along. I will also go to Japan for a couple of weeks to visit one of my best friends from high school. We have talked about this trip for a while now and this is the perfect time to do it. So this is my summer plan so far. I will be back in NYC to continue studying fashion in early August.
