It’s funny how it seems that it took forever to reach the end of this tunnel, but it actually went pretty fast. It kind of feels like it was yesterday that I was excited for my first day in college.

Having a social life can be kind of tricky when you are in college—especially during the senior coop semester. However, it is important for me to take time to see my friends, have a date night with my boyfriend or to just do something that makes me happy.

I am pretty sure everyone that has left their family and home country behind to go travel and/or study abroad has felt a very sad and deep feeling called homesickness.  Homesickness is difficult to avoid, especially when you first arrive in a new place. If there is one thing that I can say about being an International Student at LIM College, it’s that we are never alone on this journey. Applying to LIM College

Posted by LIM College on Tue, Dec 09, 2014 @ 12:16 PM

Between deciding what you want to study and which college to go to, it’s also important to consider what else is necessary to start your college life. People say that one of the most stressful times before college can be the application process because there is just so much to do with no assistance whatsoever. I couldn’t disagree more; applying to LIM College for me was pretty simple. LIM has everything very clear and laid out on their website, which is pretty straightforward, even if English isn’t your first language.

Their application check list helps to make sure that you have all the required documents, that you’ve taken all the necessary tests and also gathered any other important information—essay and extracurricular activities list included.  The college also has a great admissions team who are always there to help students. Just shoot them an email and soon there will be an answer waiting for you in your mailbox.
