Faculty and students were treated to hors d'oeuvres and drinks while waiting for the styling competition to begin. To top it off, Joe Fresh offered 20% off all purchases for the night.
"The Joe Fresh brand is looking to interact with a youthful market just like LIM. We promote a young, vibrant, and affordable style that we hope resonates with students everywhere," said Georgia Gomez, East Coast Marketing Manager.
Five teams competed for the prize of individual swag bags containing Joe Fresh merchandise. Each team was given a rack of clothing, 20 minutes, and a dressing room to come up with their best "Fresh" look. During this time, the judges decided to throw a curveball and tack on the rule of wearing a signature orange Joe Fresh t-shirt. Some teams took this literally and styled it normally, while other decided to take a more creative approach. In the end, team "Yes, Yes, Yes!" won with a style of white monochromatic clothing, pumps, and the Orange t-shirt worn as a head wrap.
Overall the night was filled with laughs, shopping, and tons of great food (Our favorite was the tuna tartar!) Students: look out for potential job offers and future events from this LIM-enthused brand.
