Style on Campus

Now that the leaves have changed, LIM students are swapping their high-waist shorts and gladiator sandals for wool flannels and ankle booties. On campus, you’ll be able to spot students wearing the top trends and rocking versatile styles. I stopped a few cool kids that have a great sense of style. Check ‘em out!

Major: Visual Merchandising

Class Standing: Freshman

Style: “Simple and comfortable, yet I believe I am unique in ways that my style shows.”

Inspiration: “I wear the clothes, I don’t let them wear me.”

Major: Fashion Marketing

Aspirations: "I aspire to be a successful…stylist, for now. I’m still figuring out what I want to do."

Inspiration: “I don’t really have someone I look up to, but my inspiration is very random. I could get inspiration from friends, complete strangers…just anything!”

Major: Undeclared

Class Standing: Freshman

Describe yourself in one sentence: "I’d like to describe myself as...hmm, Kim Kardashian. Hahaha, joking. When I put stuff together, I’m very adventurous, and I’m not afraid to look behind different doors to express my creativity and flaunt what my body offers to the human eye, if that makes sense."

Aspirations: “My aspiration is to become a makeup artist. I want to be able to create, and for as long I’m doing that, I’ll be happy. I want to be able to create a moving piece of art.”
