LIM College

One of the best parts of being an LIM College student, as I’ve stated before, is the crazy amount of opportunities we get to meet and network with fashion industry professionals. Another one of these opportunities is coming up on May 4 at Maxwell Hall. 

The YMA-FSF “Fashion Forward” event will showcase different sections of the industry and will provide an opportunity for current LIM College students to chat with teachers, as well as the keynote speaker, Maryanne Grisz, the Executive Producer of the movie Dressed.

The first part of the event will feature a small speaking portion highlighting the YMA-FSF Scholarship Fund, brief bios from each faculty member, as well as a short discussion from Maryanne Grisz about her career and work on Dressed. After the speaking portion at the start of the event, the trailer for Dressed will play, and then students will be permitted to break into groups at each networking station to speak with teachers and Maryanne Grisz.

Of course, as with any LIM College event, there will also be food, drinks, a DJ, and raffle prizes. This event is one LIM College will not want to miss and I can assure you that it will be worth the time. See you on May 4!
