New on the New York Fashion Scene: Piero Guidi

posted by LIM College

Recently I moved back to NYC (on Wall St). Even though I am interning four days a week and have capstone class on Fridays, I felt I should look for a side job to make some extra cash. I did some research on boutiques in the fashion industry because I eventually want to open and run my own boutique.

When I came across Piero Guidi I hadn’t heard much about them -- probably most of you haven’t either. Piero Guidi is a handbag store from Italy that's opening their first store here in North America.

Piero Guidi started his business in Italy back in the 1970’s. He is known for his popular line of handbags called “Magic Circus,” which consists of colorful images of circus scenes. (Below is an image one of the Magic Circus bags, it's available in white, brown, or black.)

Another popular collection is the “Lineabold" collection, which is specifically made for you. You can engrave your name on the metal plaque on the front of the handbag. (Below is one of the Lineabold bags. It also comes in solid black or red.)

Piero Guidi is an up-and-coming brand in North America, and is already expanding into Japan, China, and Hong Kong. It will soon be expanding across the U.S. Why not be the first to have one! Prices are affordable and range from $200-$900. If you want to learn more about the company, check out their website or check out this article about them.
