Fashion Lab Pre-College Program for High School Students Starts Oct. 2nd

describe the imageLIM College's Fashion Lab for High School Students is a pre-college program for motivated teenagers who love fashion.

Taking place on Saturdays over six weeks, teens are exposed to life in the fast-paced fashion industry with courses that include Fashion Photography, Fashion Styling, Fashion Show Production, and Celebrity Styling.

Saturday Fashion Lab Pre-College Program Begins February 13, 2010

Study Event Planning, Celebrity Styling, Fashion Buying and More!

LIM College's Fashion Lab program is for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, or students who have just graduated from high school. The program meets weekly Saturdays for five weeks and gives students a chance to explore fashion-related careers and begin aquiring knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the fashion industry. Some of the classes available include Celebrity Styling, Fashion Buying, Fashion Photography, and Fashion Styling.

LIM College is the only college in the nation dedicated to the business of fashion. Many alumni from LIM College go on to persue exciting careers in fashion merchandising, visual merchandising, fashion styling, fashion marketing, and retail management. LIM College's pre-college fashion program is targeted at young people who know they are interested in persuing careers in the fashion industry.

LIM College Pre-College Programs - Why Wait to Study Fashion?

If you're a high school student interested in the business of fashion, why wait until college to begin exploring your passion? The Saturday Fashion Lab at LIM College is the perfect opportunity to get an up-close, hands-on view of the fashion industry in New York City -- the fashion capital of the world.

LIM College professor Marjorie Lee Woo and studentWe offer two Saturday Fashion Lab sessions yearly: one in the fall and one in the spring. Youc an choose one of eight available courses per session.

LIM College also offers a pre-college program for summer called Summer Fashion Lab. We offer four weeks of classes from July 12th, 2010 to August 6th, 2010. Classes are held in the morning from 9:30am-12:30pm and in the afternoon from 1:30pm-4:30pm. You can take classes in the morning, afternoon, or both, for a total of us to 8 courses over 4 weeks.

Consider spending your Saturdays or your summer at the nation's only college devoted to the business of fashion. Learn visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, fashion marketing, styling, photography, fashion writing, fashion show production, and more! You'll be earning college credit and having fun!
