Summer in Florence: A Final Class "Masterpiece"

To kick off the final week of LIM College's study abroad program in Florence, Italy, students took a leather making workshop, which taught them the history and business of the leather trade in Florence. They also learned the leatherwork technique to make a small bag.

The most exciting class of the study abroad experience took place at The Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze. After learning about sculpture methods and techniques in Professor Lueders' class, the group got to view one of the great Renaissance masterpieces: Michelangelo's David.
