A motivational quote that has gotten me through my college years is by my favorite fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. In her book, “The Woman I Wanted to Be,” DVF says, “I never knew what I wanted to do, but I knew the woman I wanted to be”.
This quote has always stood out to me, because, although I knew what I always wanted to do in my career, I also knew the kind of woman I wanted to be as well.
That woman was someone who was determined, kind, passionate, outgoing, dedicated, successful, and willing to learn. Those traits are very important to me as a woman and in life, because without them, I probably wouldn’t have gotten so far in my fashion career or college today.
