One of the perks of living in NYC is that we get to experience so many amazing events held around town. This month I got a chance to be part of one that was very motivating and inspiring: the Cosmo Fun Fearless Life Conference.  Cosmopolitan Magazine partnered with Maybelline and Express to put together an amazing weekend full of knowledge, fun and beauty. We even got awesome gifts throughout the event – LOVED IT!

There were spectacular speakers lined up like Sophia Amoroso, Sarah Blakely (MY FAVORITE!!), Megyn Kelly, Kelly Osbourne, and so many more. We learned a lot about getting to know our inner selves, discovering our goals and how to act on them to make them real. There were also a lot of tips on how to be financially stable in our 30’s if we start working on it in our 20’s. Throughout the whole day, the most important lesson in my opinion was that to reach our dream job or whatever it is that we want in life, it is important to always have positive attitude and drive – the rest will eventually come with our hard work.

My girlfriends and I were very inspired after being part of such an experience with a huge amount of young women, all very eager to be successful. We heard amazing stories from professionals in many different fields and Joanna Coles, Editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, served as a huge mentor to all of us – she taught us that we can do whatever we want if we set our minds to it.
