Fall Necessities

posted by Kianna Plummer

Pumpkin spice, cozy sweaters, sandalwood, brown boots, cinnamon, pumpkins, and so much more! My favorite season is fall. I love making my room look and smell very cozy and fall-like. Here are a few things that I pick up every fall.

Fall Scented Candles and Soap

I always pop into TJ Maxx to pick up cute, small, fall-scented candles. Yankee Candle and Bath and Body Works always have a fall sale for their candles and hand soaps.

  • Vanilla and Pumpkin Essential Oils

  • I recently purchased a diffuser for my room, and I am obsessed with it. If you do not feel like buying candles or you live in the dorms where you are not allowed to burn candles, a diffuser is a perfect alternative. I bought fall scented oils for my diffuser.

  • A cozy blanket is essential for nights that you want to keep your window open, and it gets a little chilly. A warm soft blanket also makes your bed 10 times cozier. You can buy a warm blanket at just about any home store like Target, Tj Maxx, Kohls, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Macy's.

  • Comfy Sweaters

  • I love putting together outfits in the fall! Layering and wearing fall colors always make me seem more put together. A few comfy sweaters are a fall fashion essential. You can buy turtlenecks, cardigans, oversized sweaters, and even sweater-like jackets.

  • Booties

A good pair of booties to go with your cute fall outfits is also essential. Make sure they are comfortable and will last a while. Investing in a high-quality pair of shoes is sometimes smarter than buying them from Forever 21 or H&M where they might break or be damaged by the end of the year.
