I think that regardless of what life chooses to throw at us, we have the choice of how we will handle it and how it will affect us. We can either react through emotion and think "why me?" or we can come to our rational senses and realize "why not me?" For the sake of any failures or hardships you WILL come across (trust me, there will be many), you have to stay strong following your own intuition and heart. For every nine out of ten times, you are the solution to your problems.
Most incoming freshmen tend to lean towards a Fashion Merchandising major upon their arrival at LIM College. If you’re looking into our school, or are a freshman now, I suggest taking a good look into all the majors we have to offer (Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Management) and explore the concentrations available to start off your LIM career on the right foot. Being serious about your passions from day one will not only get you to where you want to be, but have you surpassing your greatest expectations with ease.
I've always been told that in order to make others happy, you must first be able to make yourself happy. Keywords here; make YOUrself happy! This means that regardless of the incredible people surrounding you in your daily life, you must realize that you are the only one, both responsible for and in control of your full happiness. If you are unhappy, it is not the world around you, it is you. Now, how's that for a first impression?
