LIM College staff, faculty and students owe some thanks to Maggie Talisman, co-founder and executive chef of Dishes for her for heavenly scented food. Just in case you don’t know, there is another location near the Townhouse at 399 Park Avenue 54th Street.
If somehow you have never been to Dishes, they offer a wide range of meat, pasta and vegetable main courses daily. They also have amazing salads and soups—my favorites are the Asian noodle soups. Their deserts can turn a bad day around. Trust me, the passion fruit panna cotta and mango coconut tapioca puddings are to die for. The cake table will definitely satisfy chocolate lovers. Dishes is convenient to LIM College campuses, affordable for Midtown, and the buffet and cooked-to-order sections give you many choices. If there were an LIM College fan club for dishes, many of us would be charter members.
