My friend and I visited the Pont des Arts – or “Love Locks” bridge.

It wouldn't be a successful trip if I didn't taste a lot of food.

Mod'Art opened our eyes to the beautiful crafts that still exist in the city. The first workshop we visited specialized in restoration and gilding. We saw gold, silver, and wood pieces.

We took a break from the city and headed south to Versailles. We traveled as a class and went with our French professor and Valentine, a representative from Mod'Art who stayed with us throughout the trip.

I traveled to the Notre Dame Cathedral. After visiting the church, I climbed 387 steps up the tower to see amazing views of the city. 

Today I visited the Palais Garnier, the famous Paris Opera House.

Today was a long day of classes! During the first half of the day we examined fabrics from the house of Lanvin.

The first weekend in Paris was full of sightseeing. The Louvre was definitely a priority.
