I have never been more relieved that a week has ended. Finals week was somewhat short of a small personal hell. It was a week of endless amounts of caffeine, cram sessions, study groups, and hours spent in the math lab. Now the classes and exams are over and it's time for the Work Project I internship!
If you have been reading my blog I'm sure you are aware that I work at the Tommy Hilfiger "Global Flagship" on Fifth Avenue. I'm also doing my internship there which allowed me to start accumulating hours earlier, so this way I really wouldn't have to worry too much about getting my 150 hours in. I suggest this to everyone and it's always nice to have some extra cash!
I can honestly say I love my job. The people are great and the opportunities to learn are even greater. I'm currently working as a cashier, and also dabbling in the in-store PR department. I get to do outfit pulls for photo shoots and just help out with everything. Also, it's only been a month and I'm already up for a promotion, so wish me luck!
