During our trip to London, we stayed in a section of London called Knightsbridge. This area had a lot of shopping and was also where Harrods is located. Luckily, we stayed a half-a-block away from Harrods and it was an easy walk to get there.
Being a Visual Merchandising major, I was very keen to see the visual displays featured in retail stores throughout London, especially Harrods. Harrods windows are famous for their intricate and creative displays so I was very excited to be able to see these windows firsthand.
On our first night after dinner, a group of us went on a walk around Knightsbridge and walked past Harrods. The theme of the windows was, “Happy New You” and featured beauty or cosmetics-related products in each window.

I loved how they incorporated nature along with the miniature people. How awesome are the mini people diving off the lily pads?

My favorite part of the windows was the over-sized products. Where can I find myself an over-sized Lancôme lotion?!
