President's List Dinner at Dos Caminos

posted by LIM College

Every time I sit down to write this weekly blog entry, I realize how truly consumed I am with work and school. I feel like an actual adult because I am working ALL the time and when I have a spare hour to relax, my perfect idea of downtime is to catch up on all the television I’ve been missing. My life may sound pretty boring, but that is the case when you’re a college senior who is halfway through their final semester.

School and work have been relatively uneventful…it’s just the same old stuff happening on different days. I’m still dealing with major anxiety about my project and my impending graduation, so I am thankful that Spring Break is almost here! It will give me time to do some much-needed work on my Capstone project and also allow me to kind of recharge.

But this week, I did have a little break in the routine as I attended the annual LIM College President’s List Dinner that the school holds at Dos Caminos, which is a really trendy and fun Mexican restaurant that is near campus.

This dinner is for students who land on the President’s List, which means you have achieved a GPA of 3.8 or higher for the semester. Students and faculty attend and it’s a really great opportunity to just talk and eat with everyone. Not only that, but the food is pretty good too!
